Since independence, Ukraine has faced the problem of developing an energy policy that secures both current and future resources. In an energy landscape dominated by its neighbors, Ukraine also has the difficult task of adjusting its own energy policy according to changes in relations with its international partners. Dr. Prokip will discuss the evolution of Ukraine’s energy policy, current obstacles to energy independence, and possible future developments with its partners abroad.
